How KILN works

KILN is where AI agents are forged. You build an agent, prove it works, publish it, and can launch a token for it on Robinhood Chain.

Getting started

  1. Connect a wallet. Any EVM browser wallet works. KILN adds Robinhood Chain (chain 4663) for you if it's missing.
  2. Sign in. You sign a one-time Sign-In with Ethereum message. It's free, sends no transaction and expires after 7 days.
  3. Open the Studio and create an agent: a name, what it does, how it should behave and which tools it may use.
  4. Chat with it and give it tasks to see how it behaves before anyone else does.

Agent lifecycle

Every agent moves through the same stages:

  • Draft: private and fully editable.
  • Testing: you've run the publishing test. It checks the profile is complete, the category and tools are supported, and the tool runtime works.
  • Published: listed on Explore with a public profile.
  • Paused: temporarily hidden. Resume any time.
A passing test is tied to the exact configuration it ran against. If you change an agent's instructions, tools or model after publishing, it goes back to draft until it passes again.

Tools

Agents can only call the tools you enable. The model picks a tool and its arguments, KILN validates them against a strict schema, and only then executes it. Every step is recorded on the task.

Live tools fetch real data at the moment they run. In chat, when you ask something a live tool can answer (“what's trending?”, “how is the RWA narrative doing?”), the agent fetches the data first and answers from it, quoting where and when it came from.

When you create an agent you can start from a narrative preset (AI agents, tokenized stocks & RWA, memecoins, DeFi or prediction markets), which pre-fills its instructions and the live tools it needs.

ToolWhat it does
trend_scanner LIVETrending coins, the hottest sectors by 24h change, and any narrative (AI agents, RWA, memes, DeFi…), live from CoinGecko.
onchain_reader LIVELatest block, wallet balances, transactions and contract checks on Robinhood Chain.
token_inspector LIVEAny ERC-20's name, symbol, supply, a holder's balance, and whether it was launched on KILN.
calculatorAdd, subtract, multiply, divide, percentages and growth between two numbers.
json_processorValidates and inspects JSON, lists keys, extracts a field or filters an array.
text_analyzerWord, character and sentence counts, plus keyword frequency.
chatConversational replies in the agent's voice.

Launching tokens

From Launch, add an image, name, ticker, description and your X, Telegram and website, optionally link one of your agents, then choose a creator fee and an optional first buy. Your wallet sends one transaction to the KILN launchpad.

  • Every token has a fixed 1,000,000,000 supply with no mint function and no owner, admin or pause key.
  • 800M are sold on a bonding curve. The price rises as people buy and falls as they sell. There is no presale and no team allocation; your optional first buy happens in the same transaction, so no one can get in before you.
  • When the curve sells out it graduates: the remaining 200M tokens and all the ETH raised become a trading pool inside the launchpad. That liquidity is locked forever; nobody, including KILN, can withdraw it.
  • You pick a creator fee from 0% to 2%, paid to you on every buy and sell, before and after graduation. KILN takes a 0.5% platform fee. Claim your fees any time from the token page.
  • KILN marks a launch as confirmed only after reading the transaction receipt from the chain and checking the launchpad event matches your wallet, name and ticker.

Deploying the launchpad

Operators deploy the launchpad once per network. The Hardhat project lives in contracts/:

  1. Run npm install and npm test inside contracts/.
  2. Put a funded deployer key in contracts/.env as DEPLOYER_PRIVATE_KEY. Use a fresh wallet that only holds gas money.
  3. Run npm run deploy:launchpad:testnet (or deploy:launchpad:mainnet), then set NEXT_PUBLIC_KILN_LAUNCHPAD_ADDRESS and NEXT_PUBLIC_KILN_LAUNCHPAD_BLOCK in the app's environment.
Before mainnet: get the contracts independently audited, and verify their source on the explorer.

Safety

The KILN contracts have not been independently audited. Only use amounts you can afford to lose.
  • Unaudited. The launchpad contract has passed contract tests, a randomised solvency test, static analysis and full end-to-end runs on testnet, but no independent security firm has reviewed it. Testing can show bugs are present, never that they are absent.
  • Immutable. The contract has no owner, admin key or pause. Nobody, including KILN, can change it, stop it or take funds out of it. That also means a bug could not be patched; a fixed version would be a new contract.
  • Open source. The contract source is verified on the block explorer, so anyone can read exactly what it does.
  • Site pause. In an emergency KILN can pause new launches and buys on this website. Selling and claiming fees always stay available, so you can always exit.
  • Prices can go to zero. Agent tokens are speculative. Bonding-curve prices move with every trade.
  • KILN never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Signing in is a message signature, not a transaction.
  • Chats, instructions and task history are private to the wallet that owns the agent.
  • Agents cannot move funds or sign transactions. Every tool is read-only: live tools fetch public data, they never send anything.
  • Market data is information, not financial advice.
  • Agent tokens are not investment products. Do your own research.
